Ranking Youtube Videos

I know it's been asked before, but how can i rank videos now? At least in the first page? I know retention matters but is there any other method to do it?

Make sure you get some interaction (likes & comments) on that video.
Then do some social sharing and build some links (basically, do some SEO to it)

Hey, if you don't get views, add views, right off the bat, that's a bad sign, no matter what else you do you won't rank. You have to fake engagement. A few cool tools video marketing blaster, and as much as I hate to admit it, tube rank jeet. Great analysis tool. Also, you want to get ahold of ahrefs, because another factor is your embeds, you need ahrefs to find theirs. ANother thing, video length, what are your competitors like? Are they making real videos, or are they ranking corny slideshow videos. If you truly want to rank, just think of something that entertains people, has good quality, and do it consistently. Just do what google wants, it's not that hard.

Write a unique description for each of your videos. Aim for at least 200 words.The result is the best.

It is highly recommended to share the video links through various social networking sites to get better ranking.

Like everything social related it's based on the response that your video generates. Cross promotion with other relevant content or content sources will go a long way to ensuring you not only get views/traffic, but it will help ensure that it converts and that the links and comments and likes will all be from people interested in your niche. Seeming natural is important.
