Hello,


Anyone here working with YT? What's wrong with the ranking? Could you please guys tell me some tips to rank video.


I'm sending 70k HR views, ~400 likes, 100 subs and still my video can't go up 2nd page. Account is 8yr+ old.


Maybe someone could PM me and help a bit.

I just got started in YT. How competitive is your niche? Are you doing long, unique descriptions? Picking good tags? Do you have standout thumbnails? Good titles? Good file names?
I know not all of the above directly relates to ranking but put together it has helped drive traffic for me which has in turn resulted in my rankings increasing.

Do some keyword research, write a description of 300+ words, add the related keywords into the tags. If you want to rank the video on google then you must throw some quality backlinks to your Video.

Steal your competitor's keywords

Youtube Algorithm works on user engagement like views, comments, likes, and subscribers.

But Google loves Quality Backlinks.

Also, add an attractive related thumbnail.

70k views in one day and than nothing is highly weird.
Also try adding some external backlinks

I didn't see where his views stopped? I thought he was asking how to push his rank beyond page 2... maybe I missed something

Can you share some insights about the competition of the niche you are into and with views try getting some engagements too and optimize the video title, description and tags.

If still you are not able to rank change niche and try again.

YouTube ranking is inconsistent. You can take the exact same video, same onpage, offpage, etc, and get completely different rankings.

its weird for me, many people doing seo for youtube & rarely get their target (which is ranking obviously)
i have an account which is less than 1 year old with new channel, upload a video, not optimized but get first page rank..
the only thing i do is i set unlisted & make it public after 24h.. no buying view/sub
i really dont understand how youtube ranking works.. but even with less optimized video, i can still get 1st page rank on youtube (1st page, number 6)
