Ranking Youtube video (type beats)

Hi all

I'm looking for some advice with ranking YT videos (Type Beat niche). I have been in the Type Beat niche for years now, and have has success on YT doing it (100k+ subs, 50m+ views. But, it seems all channels start to die eventually. I have been using an SMM panel for the last couple years, but that doesn't really work anymore. It delivers views but does not help with ranking keywords. I know of some producers that are getting ridiculous views (500k+ in just weeks), I have been doing this for long enough to know they are using a service to rank, or something else other than just optimising their keywords and thumbnails. Any ideas?

I have tried various ads over the last 8 or so years, they don't really work all that well. Paying $200 on ads per video just for a couple hundred or so clicks doesn't really help with ranking and competing against other channels that clearly use some sort of panel or stream farm. Especially when I'm uploading 3-5 videos per week - Ads can get very costly and ineffective
 
I am experiencing exactly the same problem. I use SMM panels, but am starting to wonder, what's the point of paying so much just so that your channel has pretty looking bot numbers on them. It does not help me rank higher nor does it increase my organic traffic. Nowadays, when I post a Short I get no more than 10 or 20 organic views. The rest I have to fill up with an SMM panel service. Any advice form a guru would be most welcoming.
 
SMM panels stopped working, I agree, I would try to find something new, interesting
 
SMM panels is a thing of the past probably try to copy outliers of other successful channels and then come up with your own ideas ?
 
Yeah, SMM panels don’t work like they used to. A good alternative is getting real engagement through microjob sites like Sproutgigs actual likes, comments, and shares help with ranking. Also, push your beats on social media for organic traction.

Also, you can search here on BHW for a freelancer who can help you develop a solid strategy for your channel.
 
Yep! The SMM panels are dead, but there are providers of quality services over there!

there are some smm panels that still work, also it depends on how you use it, most people just add a few views and expect the method to work, however it doesnt work like that, you need to use smm services in a way it seems organic to the platform, add views + mix it with other engagements like shares, comments. likes etc and that too in a natural number.
 
work on your Channel first, put more work on the quality of the video.
 
Anyone saying SMM panel doesn't work, is buying from the wrong panel. They are lots of good ones in the marketplace section. Optimize your title, description and tags first before you purchase anything.
 
Lately I’ve seen better results focusing on CTR, longer watch time, and tweaking titles/thumbnails more often.
