Did you publish a Clickbank product review or were you targeting more broader keywords?
Was this on a parasite, brand-new domain or expired?

Off to read that now. But how does one really get good expired domains. I know about picking one from the expireddomains.net site but apart from that I am not sure if it works because I tried it with a hair loss niche (don't know what I was thinking) and didn't quite get any thing out of that

My site was brand new actually and I published some product reviews for clickbank, jvzoo and paykickstart products. I actually have a case study ebook on it

I can confirm that.
I'm 1 month in, zero backlink effort and already getting 30 visitors / day. I just poured ton articles of laser targeted keywords and it's starting paying off. So excited about that.
Also, yesterday I found out that google pushed my article on 1# and got featured snippet so I'm excited how much it will be now

How much did you spend on articles in total?Creating a site in a certain niche is sometimes all it takes to start receiving organic traffic.
I once bought 30 articles for a website that was made for AdSense.
In about 3-6 months it was getting about 500 uniques every single day.
Not a single backlink built to the site.
Although I had picked the wrong niche to start the site in (at the time, when it came to the low CPM) - I later sold the site for quite a nice sum.
Anyone else have some good stories to share, whether or not they're through parasites or your own website?
It will serve as great inspiration to all the people who are currently struggling in the SERPs
What about word count per article?

commercial keywords? No chances. Competitive money Niches? No chances
If your goal is only traffic and you don't care about lead generation and sales. Sure it possible if you will choose a great niche.
Also the audience you bring by this mostly is "cold". Maybe not bad if your goal is few bucks from Adsense, for sales of affiliate marketing - less effective. Also, I still believe it is still possible to find some unique niches for affiliate marketing.
But overall in most cases, if your goals to increase organic traffic, not creating backlinks is just not efficient uses of resources.

I buy my domains from a guy named Kalin. He specializes in reselling expired domains.
All good expired domains have already been snapped by domain sellers most likely, especially in the hair loss niche.
Start talking to sellers if you have a budget.

Absolutely! All of them are hiding PBN and most of them are very good at creating their own big PB networks; all those shared PBNs are shit

well op would u rank faster with backlinks? thats the only question... stop with the no backlinks nonsense

I know I would, and I will start to build backlinks to my latest project. Just was a bit surprised at the success I was able to achieve without them
I don't really have one. I've been doing this thing forever, so I just know what to look for. Might create another thread on it.

Another thing, there is something about buying expired domains they say when you buy a certain type of expired domain it loses all it's older links and becomes a totally new domain. Not sure where I heard that then.
