I have only done a few full link pyramid tests up till this point, but the one thing I have noticed with them all is that it usually takes a while for the money page to finally get to it's final position on Google. Is this how it has been for the rest of you guys ?

I think the fastest I have ever seen some major results was like in about a month, I seen big jump, but still took longer to get to page 1. I know every keyword will have different competition and what not, but it can be hard to wait so long to see if your time has paid off, but I guess this is the life of a SEOer :)

yup. pretty much the reality when doing it that way. but don't stop, you'll get there. it is worth the wait.

Have you guys experimented with different link index services? I am still trying to figure out if those are worth the investment.

I have never really bothered with them, I just figured letting everything get found naturally is best, though sometimes I take a bunch of the links created and index them myself.

Sounds fair, I have seen ads from the indexing services that claim that most of the links you build will never be found by google at all, which would be a waste of link building for SEO purposes, but it's hard trying to get unbiased information from someone who is promoting a product.

I have found that most do get found, maybe not as fast as you would like, but yeah so I kind of always thought it might just be a waste of money.

What kind of backlinks do you use in tier 1, and tier 2?

The "most of the links" thing Is a bit off IMO, just depends on what kind of links they are. I do use a couple Indexer services though.

I have no use for my Indexer services for the next couple of days due to my captcha OCR's being down, so If you want to throw some links to your backlinks my way via PM I could run them In an Indexer service so you can test the results yourself. Just keep the amount of links below 150ish, just In case my OCR's come back online tonight (daily link caps for Index services). Also let me know If you want them to be drip fed for x amount of days, and not processed at once.

The GSA indexer is not very expensive, works well.
