Ranking with fail URL?

Hi Guys,


I have a question, can you help me? I have one website and I wanna ranking with Category URL but it has ranking with post url although I did everything: Point Internal link from post to category, Build Backlink, get traffic from social,...Now I don't know how to do this. I need your help

Change the post URL to something new. Create a 301 redirect rule pointing the old post URL to the category page. Make sure your theme is set to allow indexing of archive/categories.

If you didn't have any success in ranking any page or post then you stand no chance of ranking the category of the site.
