Ranking with duplicate content

Good night. I'm researching a niche market. I have seen something curious, a website that copies word for word entire articles. They are descriptions of google play apps. The only difference is that it adds the keyword of hacked, mod, apk, etc. And they rank pretty well on google.
How is it possible that I can rank in google so well with 100% duplicate content. You don't think it would be a better idea to at least spin the articles (without spin the name of the game clear).
-What do you think of this niche, are thousands of keywords with little traffic but thousands are.
-Do you find this type of web interesting? or is it not worth getting involved in.

It doesn't come as a surprise some niches are like that only people still rank with duplicate content

It's fully depends on competition mate. If other people giving more valuable. Your rankings will vanish

Google is stupid.
Even the content is totally from another site, it might outrank the original site.

Funny right?
Because google weigh too much on DA (authority of the site) this funny thing happens.

If you can manipulate this google’s loophole,
You can do many things easily - and this is the fun part of bhw.

Here people think google is so smart and difficult to rank.. ohhh so scary what can I do...

I was the same.
Maybe that’s true that google is so difficult to rank if you do whitehat only.

But google actually stupid.
Maybe it will develop faster with AI but still it’s just dumb in many aspect.

slowly realizing this as well. Google has gotten smart over the years but it seems like there are definitely some loopholes that can be exploited. I don't call it"cheating"I call it "having an edge" lol

Real estate is much the same way. One listing description shared to zillow, realtor dot com, homes dot com and hundreds, if not thousands, of individual agent sites via IDX.

do you think google cares less because its a description content than say a duplicated 1000 word article in real estate?

Honestly, I see duplicate content ranking well regardless of length. Descriptions of houses are at MOST 1,000 characters (in most of the US it can be more like 600 characters). The national trade unions put out a lot of content each day and there are companies like "Keeping Current Matters" whose sole purpose is to create paid content that you can re-blog, etc. I see many sites ranking for that type of content, regardless of copyrights. They aren't very likely to get traffic for it as most of it is pure garbage ("Chip and Jo-Jo" and "Tarek and Christina" were favorite topics when they were popular), but still it exists and does well.

On the listing side, I'm an independent shop of 1 and even if I had my listing description out for weeks before the listing went live to the rest of the world (the benefits of working with under construction homes) I would still be out ranked by the likes of Zillow, other portals and the "big box" companies and "disruptor companies". It took a few years and a lot of competitive research, but I'm able to stay on page 1 now and beat many of the larger non-big box companies. Now I'm targeting a large "disruptor" and enjoying finding that they've used many of the links BHW members share for high DA profile links (like Git and such).

I recently came across the OP's "Hacked" concept and started playing with it. Haven't had enough experience yet to see if it'll make a difference.
