Hey guys,

I need some advice. In my nishe lots of websites ranks with sidebar/footer links from similar sites.

I'm planning to create new one and rank it with pretty same strategy. Wondering how to do it to get longest results.

My plan is create a website, fiil up it with content in like 2-3 weeks.

Then start link building - forum links, blog comments from similar sites (obl is very low, most of them is no follow) and do it like one month, to get some "natural" links. Most of them will be no follow.

In two months website will get indexed, get some positions in serps, some backlinks will be indexed.

After like two months i will start buying sidebar/footer links from similar websites. I will buy links only from homepages. Like one link each week. Links will goes with 6-8 different anchors (links from beginning goes to alot more randoms anchors).

Will keep anchor diversity of all keywords like 5-10%. Ratio will be like 80% no follow / 20 % follow.

Do i will rank with this strategy? I'm pretty newbie of nowdays linkbuilding...

are you sure those other sites don't have any other backlinks? footer and other site-wide links were hit few years back. Ofcourse in seo you shouldn't generalize stuff. Maybe there are those which still work but try and diversify. You will mostly get mixed feedback on this. But quality>quantity.

This is a fantastic idea. Assuming you have a time machine.

this method is not proper. start building backlink from starting do not wait long time. and you not get any extra benefit if you put link in footer, sidebar or homepage.

But competitors ranks using footer/sidebar links...

What, no extra benefit from a homepage link?
