Ranking Videos in Google

I rank parasite properties, web 2.0's in Google a lot but don't have any first hand experience with ranking Videos [YouTube, Dailymotion]. I am trying to rank a dailymotion video since the start of this month. Today I checked the video tab on Google.com and my video is #4 there, but video is nowhere to be seen in normal web search.

May be the process of ranking videos is different then the websites? Any tips on ranking the YT, Dailymotion videos?

try to rank vimeo , yt . for me dailymotion sucks.

Blackhat marketers using churn and burn tactics on YouTube videos usually blast their YouTube videos with thousands of links, the type of links you can get from http://dripfeedlinks.co. This method is based on the theory that since Google owns YouTube, they won't penalise their own property. I haven't tried it though.
