I don't think just updating the date using a plugin will be helpful, google don't just rank the articles based on the publishing date, the data or information in these blogs need to the updated..

Its better to update the date using this plugin but also keep adding some fresh content to the the top performing blogs

Consider using this plugin ‘Bulk Post Update Date’ to update the date of your articles to 2024.
Google rank updated articles better because they believe they include the latest information on the topic.

many sites have articles posted 1-2-3 years ago and wonder why their site is failing and losing traffic... old, outdated content... it's a big problem for many sites.
