So I had some luck earlier this year catching the wave of upcoming releases and renaming my playlists to hope and rank for those searches. Problem is this method gets real followers but takes quite a while to get any traction as searches for unreleased songs are less than more popular searches such as "Chill Rap Playlist" etc, etc.
Now that I want to expand, I've been looking at ways to rank larger playlists, but I wanted to see if anyone here had any experience ranking playlists.
On first sight it seems like the ranking isn't based solely on # of followers of playlist, since I've seen many smaller playlists rank higher than playlists with more followers. I was thinking that amt of plays on a playlist must be a ranking factor as well as other factors that I am not accounting for.
Any tips or thoughts?
