Hi guys,

If I have a video unlisted for about a week gaining views, then I want to put it public will it rank in its relevant keywords in searches straight away? Or will it take a few days for the algorithm to figure where it will be placed? Also do you miss out on video getting trending status if the video already has a high amount of views before its made public? Thanks for any help given

Forget the unlisted method. I don't know why people still praise a method that has stopped working properly 2 years ago.
Nowadays you can easily rank by follow a simple formula. You just have to do it consistently.
 
I'm doing it for the method. I'm putting out a music video but the iTunes link isn't live yet so I'm trying to wait to get that before I put it public. My worry is the video has already got a lot of views and I don't want it to miss it getting in the trending sections but on the other hand I don't want people to see vid and the link is not there to buy the song which is why I'm asking. Can anyone give any advice?

You can list the video because you may be losing out on potential followers. Okay, you don't have the live iTunes link, maybe you can create a simple form where you grab their email or any sort of contact information. Then post its link in the description saying it's about to be released for download.

You can also create a FB page and ask them to like that to get updates.

How many views you have right now on your video ?

I'm getting about 5k - 10k plus views a day, currently 67k views, uploaded the video Saturday evening and the views started towards the end of Saturday so about 11pmish. The video is now public but would still like to know any information if you have any please, thanks

It usually takes 3 days to a week to rank but still keep sending views.Unlisted Method is a 50/50 gamble sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.So don't be disappointed.
