Ranking question

Hi Guys,

I got a client who wants to rank his site,he has 7 product pages in his site and want to rank all those pages so customer will land on exact pages what they are looking for.

So my question is should I only send Brand,naked URL,Genaric anchor text links to home page & exact match anchor,long tail anchor links to inner pages. Can this be linking strategy to rank that site.

Looks like a solid plan but to be on the safer side you need to mix up the targeting keywords.
