Ranking Question - Please Help!

Hi, hope everyone is doing fine. Here is my problem below.

I noticed my homepage is ranking for keywords that I have targeted in my blog post which I think it's won't bring value to the reader as they won't get their final destination where the real information is located. The funniest thing I have noticed is the main blog post is not ranking at all for this keyword.

I have category which have blog roll. Please help me, what I'm I doing wrong here. I really appreciate your help and contribution.

Check your links mate. Are they quality links? if yes you can get it sure after some time.

Make sure that the keywords are actually in tune with the things on your page. Double check your spelling and make sure that the topics all match
