My keywords are ranked between Page 1-5 of the SERP's which i merely used only social bookmarks. What's the best type of links you can suggest so i can move it directly on top. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Diversify - use blog comments, web 2.0, social media, etc. You can also study your competition and see where there backlinks are coming from and snipe some. You can also do an extensive search on this forum.

From my point of view you should go for SAPE links.
There are some very good and organized guys here on BHW who can do this service for you. You should calculate the costs vs your return

Also, use 60-70% your main KW on SAPE links and diversify the anchor text by doing one of the top fiverr SEO gigs. ( use generic terms, naked URLs,etc)

I suggest you to go with diversified Link building..
1. Web2.0
2. Article directories
3. Blog Posts
4. Edu Profiles
5. Edu Blogs
and so on..

But You should do some social signals as well including link building, It will give you authority to your site.

same happened with me. I have a blogspot blog and its contain just tools no content no images nothing more. I just did couple of social bookmarking and forums with signature and BOOM...my keyword is on 4th position after 1 2 or 3 weeks and still ranking for.
now its been year i dont do any backlinking but still that rank well. I dont know how.
