Ranking music artist site

Hey guys. So I have an app client that I told about SEO and how it worked. She was interested and I did some random keyword research on "goth" based keywords. Most of them have lower - medium competition according to G+ keyword tool and over 30k searches mobile/static per month. the juicy ones have over 1million.

I want to know how possible would it be for us to rank her website on the first page for those keywords without changing too much on her website. Maybe we release a mixtape series or something for a few keywords but essentially the whole goal here is to rank her music website first page for these random keywords to increase exposure ( A basic SEO job ?)

Tell me what you guys think. Is it possible, what would have to be done, estimated time length and pricing.

I think it's very possible to rank, especially if it's an older site with authority. You wouldn't have to change too much on the website.

You have to choose a good linking plan, which there are several here on this forum. Then it's off to the races.

I used to run one of the biggest music sites on the net for a certian genere of music. Aged and authority made me rank more then any link building. Look for moer long tail words and rank those quick while you work on the harder ones....For sure though in that field I am sue it can be done.

Its always easy to rank a website/blog which has an older site with authority. The only thing is you have to do proper link building....! Good Luck Dude...!
