Hey guys,

I am planning to rank a site for keywords with very low competition. However, I am completely new to SEO and not sure what kind of services I should be purchasing to rank the site.

I purchased 10k blog comments from a member on BHW but a week after the order was made, my site is still not on Google (I am using SerpBook to track my site).

I know I need to send back links to my site, but what kind of links should I be sending and how many? (If you can recommend me a service, that'd be greatly appreciated!).

Sorry if this is the wrong section :S

Maybe you should have asked before ordering 10k blog comments as that will most likely slap your site on google..If its really low competition you should have made 10 unique web 2.0 and point those blog comments on those...Web 2.0 could be enough but in world of SEO you will never know until you test it..You have good tutorials on how and what you should do to rank a site so check it out

5 quality web 2.0 backlink should have done the job ! but 10K blog comments sure gonna ruin the show ! RIP to your site

Ah dam, thanks for responding guys. I guess I've learned a lesson today :S

EDIT: Is there anything I can do to save my site?

Remove those blog comments? If WMT hasn't said anything, then it's most likely still, ok. That's my guess.

As for the rest of the advice, i keep seeing 'make web2.0' popping up everywhere. I shall try that first.

You should only do 10k blog comments blast to your 2nd tier backlinks. If you haven't invested much effort in your domain, then buy a fresh domain. After that, make a 301 redirect from your previous site to your 2nd tier backlinks.

Just my 2 cents ;)

Not sure out of 10K how many of your backlinks gonna get index. Try to remove the bad links also create quality backlinks for your money site !! UNIQUE AND QUALITY !!!!!

Ill install WMT onto my site tomorrow and if Google penalises me, Ill disavow the links. Thanks a lot for the advice guys, i will learn from this mistake:/

hey, DONT set WMT on your site! don't do it. That will just raise red flag to Google. My best suggestion is: 301 redirect your current site to your new site, because as i can see that you site should be rather new. Don't waste your time with WMT, they do more harm than good.

WMT should not rise suspicion by itself as many white hat sites have it. At least you can see if penalty were applied for your site for sure. But if your site is penalized by algorithm you will not Se much in WMT anyways.

Abandon the current site, 301 to a 2.0 site, and then build a few more 2.0's to a new money site...

Ah dam alright, ill just use a subdomain for my site then. Thanks a lot for your responses guys, greatly appreciated.

Take it much slower, and much higher quality, especially if competition is so low.

like high quality web 2.0s would be a good start.

Make a new site OP. Pretty sure that 10k blog comments destroyed your site. Start off by reading on how to do SEO first

In your opinion, is it better that I buy my web 2.0 backlinks or create it myself?

Hi buddy, in 2014 you should never buy 10k blog comments to your website.

Quality beats quantity these days.

If its very low comp, get a few web 2.0s (HIGH QUALITY) and a few related blog posts. Don't forget to mix up your anchor!

It probably wasn't the best idea to blast 10k blog comments at your site, but still, you live and learn.:)

Moving forward, personally I'd recommend buying GSA and learning to use it effectively, as it's really easy to rank low-medium comp keywords with it, especially if you add a some web2s into the mix as well. It would probably also save you money in the long run, and give you more flexibility with your link building.

Assuming that your on-page SEO is solid, and your site is structured correctly.....

It really depends on how you define "low competition", but if you want to use services, then maybe look for one that will build you 300 or so contextual links per month (across a diverse range of platforms and CMSs), with a second tier of contextual links pointing at those (and then a further spam tier pointing at the tier 2).

Also a service to drip a few (pr3 +) bookmarks, directories and forum profiles to add a bit of diversity. I'd say, probably about 20 of these per week (in total).

Additionally, if you find that the above isn't getting you where you want to be, either build some web2s or pay someone else to build you maybe 50, and then pay someone to build tiers to those as well, but be patient, as it generally takes between 2 -3 months + to rank a site, although there are obviously ways you can do it quicker if you know how.

Finally, make sure you follow best practice with the anchor text ratios etc, and also ensure that your tier 1 properties are not only linking to your money site, but also linking out to other niche relevant authority sites as well.

That's obviously a very basic guide, but should be enough to get you started.
