Ranking Local SEO without an address? Is this even possible?? If so, could it be subject to being manually reviewed/removed?

If anyone has any experience or knowledge in doing this, I'd appreciate any help!

Thanks :)

I have seen in on the big G's guidelines if you are a service provider without a store that people will not go to on Local Maps your supposed to leave your address off.
I know its not much info but hope it helps

Sorry you can't rank in G local without an address. You wouldn't be able to do citations or get your G places page verified, so it's not possible to do it without some kind of address.

you can still rank for keyword terms which are related to things which people are searching in the local neighbourhood... For example you wrote and article like "The top 5 restaurants in <<your town>>" .... etc... Okay you not going to be on G's maps etc... But you can still be on the serps... There is for sure a ton of things regarding content which can get exposure for locally related stuff...

A virtual office will work fine, as long as it has a street address not a box number.

why not add an address? or do citations without address but city name and content with city name in it.

Yeah I use the Virtual address technique myself. Ranking without an address is an uphill battle though, in some of my niches national brands with huge SEO budgets and extremely good links are still outranked by tiny companies with local addresses and a few reviews.

Google will not leave you near the 7 pack or map listings without a real local address either.

tl;dr get a local address that's not a P.O box.

you definitely need an address if you want to rank for local seo
