I headr about this from radio about month ago i think. And iw seen those stupid boxes @search result, even commented few like " lol" and something retarted.

Soon indian people start sell rep for your sites rather than seo

Just watched the video and i don't see what everyone is worried about.

If google is going to bias the results then all you have to do is pick your bias and rank for it. so if someone types in java and google biases the results with coffee then simply rank for coffee related contented.

We mustn't forget that google only delivers the search results. The power to create the content is still in the hands of people like you and me - content creators.

That guy in that video is being alarmist. They do it all the time, yell fire and when everyone leaves the building they run and take all the goodies.

I say: dont believe the hype!!!

If anything this will only make SEO that much more of a necessity. Being that you can change your own results, wouldnt everyone be gunning for that top spot to get in front of the users eyes before they start moving you around 'their desired top 10'.

I also see G00gle doing away with this pretty soon. Its retarded, no regular G00gler will ever touch it (or know what it is) and it makes the g00gle serp$ look super spammed up.

Isent this really easy to manipulate? This should be the blackhat dream? I mean a program that connects with different ips that just vote for your sites and place smart comments. Some kinda of random timer in it and just lean back?

For relevant search results i think it will be worse. You can talk in a closed for and start groups that vote on eachothers stuff. There is no eeeend to the possibilities (guess what movie that line is from).

That Bruce Clay video when he said about the java query as a example I know why matt cutts was laughing now the penny just dropped (it come from a google document that was leaked a year or so ago) Now why would Bruce Clay bring that up?
