How was your experience in ranking .io domains. Do google consider it as a spam or not.
I am trying to rank .io domain on casino keyword.
Is it really worth trying?

Saw .io domains ranked good in very competitive niche.

Google should consider it as same as .com or .net

.io has been extensively used in tech startups so tech niche would be easy to rank with that tld. But remember that it's a lot more behind the ranking process, not just the domain name

Don't think the tld matters much. Take for example something from the SEO nieche: Keywords. If you Google the phrase Keyword tools, you'd see Google places keywordtool.io at the top pf the SERPS, even above their own Google Ads keyword tool (2nd), and other big reputable .com tld sites.

I really don't think domain extensions (TLDs) really matter as much as people think or if at all tbh...

Maybe aside from a .gov or .edu
