Ranking in The First Spot!!!!!!!!

Hey guys whats up
anyways i just dont know how to understand this , i mean my youtube video ranking in the first page and first spot with 2,400 search per month and am getting between 3 to 7 clicks per day from my ppd network .............
am not talking about leads and talking about views !!!!!!!

I am ranking top 6 for 5 million exact match searches keyword and only getting 400 visitors a days. Google keyword planner is not always accurate.

3 - 7 clicks per day for your keyword is actually pretty good.

Think about it: 2,400 searches per month is not a lot.

That's 80 searches per day.

Assume that the first result for that keyword receives approximately half of the traffic (in reality it's lower, but whatever). So your video might be getting around 40 views per day.

Out of 40 people who view your video, an average of 5 click through to your PPD offer per day.

So you actually have a 12.5% average CTR. Which is great.

Try targeting some higher volume keywords.

Well, if first spot is gonna receive around a 40% of the traffic, 6th position is going to receive almost next to nothing... 400 a day means 12k a month.

Anyways, GKP is accurate, however, the means you use to calculate the amount of people visiting your site is a lot harder to do. A lot of factors will influence it... 12k a month is already a good share for being 6th.

even if there is 2,400 actually people searching every month you can still low clicks...that could be because some of them may not be looking for a video...instead a website. Some of them may see your thumbnail or title and think its not worth looking at it (this is where you make the thumbnail and title enticing). The ones who then click on your video...your video might not be professional or is not convincing enough so many leave or click on another video (this is where you make the video professional and enticing and worth continuing to watch and worth downloading)...then there is the people who go to your link and see its a survey site so they don't even click on the download button and leave...(this is where you make your own professional, convincing landing page with a content locker).

if you do everything i mentioned in brackets then you should get a high ctr...if you did that and still get very low amounts of clicks its time to move on...

if you think your youtube ranking fails then why don't try other keywords that might rank and good searcher for your videos..

Try to do some SEO. Go to YouTube and check how people make YouTube videos to rank higher.

You can't really judge by G keyword tool accurately. I've had several #1 spots for keywords ranging in upwards of 8K exact searches and my traffic to the actual page never got above 400. It's why I always say to never just get stuck on one keyword and wait for results. Better off going after multiple, multiple keywords.
