However, I did enjoy reading how the writer tried to figure out how the person was ranking. The article got me thinking about something as it pertains to competitive analysis. Does anybody know of a program, spider, etc. that allows people to analyze links similar to the service (Link Detective-does not work at the moment) he is offering towards the end of the article? If not, and you can program such a tool let me know and perhaps we can work out something. I know that Link Research Tools has a pretty cool feature where it automatically organizes the link based on type (blog, directory, etc. and Advanced Link Manager and SEO Spyglass have similar features.
