I have been looking around and couldn't really find anything on SEO'ing for Local Results. I figured I'd start something for all to share whats working best for Local Rankings.

In the Attached Image you will see the results with the Address next to it. In your experience what has been the best, most effective way to achieve top placement in the spot in the search results?

Let me rephrase that, I figured I'd start a new thread to "refresh" the topic! :)

However, I dug around for a while with little luck.

The only way to rank is through local listing. But that's a pain in the @ss trying to get your business listed.
 
Best local method is to submit to local directories. There are lists of 100+ on the internet if you look for a couple of minutes. You can still work on some normal backlinking, working on your google + page, etc.
 
SENuke XCr has a new features obtaining pings for local campaigns... has anyone tried it?
 
Step 1) search for the city or community name on google

Step 2) obtain links from all of the first 200 listings

Step 3) ?????

Step 4) Profit
 
host in that country. for "short term" even domain from a local company helps.
 

1-Optimize keywords in your Google + Page

2- Citations
3- Get Reviews , NOT FAKE ones ;-)
4- Add offers or Coupons

Are you going to offer Google + Places for your clients?


 
Consistent real reviews, owner review responses, media (photos and videos), proper keyword placement in G+ page description, proper categories, substantial business info, hundreds of citations, and link building to both the citations and G+ page.

My company provides this service if anyone needs help with it.
 
Again, best method is maps and citations as well as optimizing the listing. PM me if you need help with this.
