Ranking for a keyword in a static content !

Hello All,
I can rank for many keywords, but i still have to do a lot of work to have a better ranking.
My question is :
I have a website with a static content : there are a lot of pages with a content that we dont change regulary ! So how can i rank for a keyword and still have the same or a better ranking, without touching the content of the page ! what the other actions that i can do except changing or updating the content
(sorry for my bad english) !

Make an accent on backlinks from the trusted resources, social signals, also, if you don't want to change the existing content, you may add the News or Blog page and fulfill it with the new content interesting for users

My website is new and doesn't have yet a good PR, do you have please any ideas how to make backlinks from websites which have the same niche as mine (travel)?

Getting backlinks from websites having the same niche as yours would be easier if your onsite pages are already optimized.

You can get high ranking from backlinks without changing content.

Guest Posting, blog commenting, Social media shares these are the option available.

But it is highly recommended to keep on update the content. At least once in 3 month for better result.

totally agreed, the indicator of the efficiency of website's content is constantly refreshed, interesting, useful for the user information

Without changing the content of your site,you can still get a better ranking.
Try some high quality guest post,social media sharing, it may useful.
