Ranking First Page on Google

Hello Guys,

My page is currently ranking on the page 2nd on my targeted keyword. Is there anyway to move it to the first page ? Thanks in advance!!!

Contents is kings.. you also need good keyword optimization and best you need good distributions and quality traffic..if you domain name has a good authority.. yes you will rank well on the said keyword.. best of luck
 
if it's already on page 2 you need more backlinks, generally speaking, to push it to page 1. If the keyword is tough anyway.... otherwise it might be thing as simple as content optimization, or internal linking

Start by making sure content is better than sites ranking top 3, and then optimize internal links to the page. Give it time, and if that doesn't work move on to external links.

Increase your content quality, and build quality backlinks. You have to give little time to see results.

Take a look at the top 5 website pages ranking on page 1 for your keyword. Analyze their content:
How many words do they have?
Is it properly optimized with images & laced with keywords?

Then analyze their backlinks with a tool:
- How many backlinks from how many ref domains?
- How old is their domain?
- what is the DA/PA/DR of the domain?

Sometimes, or a lot of the time, strong websites will rank for medium competition keywords based on the high metrics of their root domain. Their content is often poorly optimized and that's where you can aim to surpass them.

A question, how does Google know if my content is good? Is it count by the time visitors are visiting my site?

2) If your run an e commerce site, content still play a factor? And by content, it means to add related blogs, so if I sell Skincare products then it has to be blog that is related to beauty/skin etc, correct?

Do this and when you gather the data - build as much pbn's as you can
 
One more suggestion i can give, Build few high da backlinks, add content on these sub keywords and make internal links. There are more options there..

Also need to check more in deep to understand whats stopping, also competitor analysis is important.

1) invest in ahrefs see what’s the top 10 pages like and see what’s missing add it.

2) shoot some guest posts, niche edits or some strong pbns as a mix.

3) vary your anchors, give it time you should probably see rankings if: kd is low or easy, your competition is weak. If it’s a new site shoot some links on homepage it’ll power all urls, and make sure you’re inter linking a lot.

Even after doing everything it’s possible you may not rank, seo is not guaranteed remember that it’s all about trials and errors.
 
for page 1 rankings out rank your competitors that's the easiest way to explain , next content is the key !
 
Use Surfer SEO to optimize it further
If big dogs rank in the top 3, there's not much you could do
