Ranking Experiment With Blog Comments [Regular Update]

Main purpose is to rank the site using blog comments. If you are not using the correct way to rank, how do we know if it is blog comment or google penalty that caused the site not to rank in Google.

you scale very efficiently. i cant make as many links in GSA as you can despite it running 24/7 on 300 threads.do you just scrape blogs and try to post on all of them hoping small percent of them will be autoapproved?

PS 10k links to moneysite in a month is a lot (huge websites may get it if they advertise site a lot on social media etc, but its not normal for majority of websites)


PS2. for AA blog comments you use xrumer, gsa or scrapebox?

Its a small secret of mine.... i cant tell too much but find only few that are auto approve...and make a small research about those sites that are already posted in comments. thats all I can say...

Thats not the proper way of finding auto approve links fast...I cant tell too much about my method......but if you have few auto approve blogs....make a small research to sites that are already on that page with comments....you can use GSA to find competitor backlinks..... about the links...i know its alot for such a short period...but they are from unique domains ....google sees it differently the situation .... its better to see 1000 unique domains poiting 1-2 links to 1 site.....rather than having 100 links from those 1000 unique domains..... thats clearly spam ....so less posts from 1 domain it can be safer I guess....

Ok guys, so for today I made a new batch of 2.6k Blog Comments from some more unique domains.
Total blog comments that I have now poiting from unique domains are around 8600 .
Here are few stats that I see in ahrefs and ranking. Slow by slow, I see its increasing , and hope it will stay like that.

hiring someone in these things is like giving them the key to the castle. Learn n test then implement.
 
The problem with so many auto approve comment links is that you run the risk of eventually getting your links surrounded by other Viagra/casino links. Not now, but in the future. If you were able to post your links, so will other spammers.

But good luck! Hopefully your rankings stay high for a while.

I used to know it but more than 5 years ago... and I'm old so I don't remember now.

I have to say... this journey is very interesting as you don't care if you rant but you want to see if it works.

Yes, indeed there is a risk. There are infact half of the pages I build links on comments with viagra and sex and other stuff. But for the sake of my curiosity I am making this experiment just a little bit different.... poiting only 1 link from one domain. Many sites are wordpress blogs so because of that, even 1 comment can appear on multiple pages..like Recent Posts....similar posts and so on....it seems that is the reason for having more than 1 link from one domain in ahrefs.

I care if I rank , because if I do, this site can bring me decent income. But I want to see what happends if I build links the old fashion way...like back in 2012 ...with comments .

Yes, theese are mostly wordpress blogs and a small percentage of guestbooks comments. Monetization is with different packages...electronic service....price minimum is 300 euros and max 1k euros....so if I can get trough page 1 this way, i can make a good profit. Adwords is too expensive to target theese kws that I try to rank so not worth it.

Ok guys, so its time for next update.
I built a total of 10k backlinks from unique domains, all backlinks being blog comments.
Right now it will take probably 1-2 weeks to see full results of what I did with this. Til now, things can go 50-50 from what I see...either good or bad.

Theese are the AHREFS and rank changes til now. Ahrefs increased , and rankings are fluctuating a little bit....rising and falling but not dissapear from top 100.
3 more keywords appeared and it seems that I rank for 3x1k-5k searches more keywords that arent related to my site. Dont know how that happend .....

Awesome then. I love experiments. Keep us updated! Can you show us the competition you're trying to outrank (not the websites, just the ahrefs metrics)?
 
Interesting thread, I just made one similar asking about blog comments still working in 2020. I've seen several super competitive niche ecom sites using blog comments as part of their daily link building (they add around 100 blog comment backlinks daily). My assumption is they are doing it mainly to inflate the referring domains metric.

Whats your latest update if you dont mind? I'm curious if you have gotten a penalty yet.
 
I will keep an eye on this one for sure as i have a couple of ideas that might go well with this kind of backlinks

Quick question: are you using scrapebox for the blog lists?

It looks like mostly no-follow but some certainly are do-follow. They use mostly exact brand name in comment spam. Their whole backlink profile looks massively spammy. Nothing but very low quality PBN's and spam comments everyday. But they have like 7 forbes link and a few other high DR links so maybe that why they can get away with spamming.

BTW this domain i'm talking about is 83 DR 77 UR....so they are crushing it.
 
My only question is how are you finding the links to good domains? Also, if there is a list then it is possible that most of the domains can have same IPs, no?
