Hey everyone,

After the March core update, I noticed a drop in rankings for a couple of primary keywords on my main product page (SaaS). This page is critical for our business as it drives most of our signups and revenue especially during Q2 which is a key period for us.

I'm considering making updates before the next spam update rolls out, but I'm hesitant. Since this is such a high-impact page, even minor dips in signups could have significant revenue impact. I understand that Google can take time to reassess the new changes and also there's no guarantee those changes will be rewarded.

Which one is safe?
  • Wait until Q3 to make major optimizations?
  • Or making minimal changes every couple of months?
Would also love to hear if you have better strategies or ideas to handle this.

Thanks in advance! :)

Imho you should always make minimal improvements. For example a landing page can always be A/B tested.

There is no need to "wait" for anything, SEO is a dynamic process as well as search engines updates.

If rankings drop, then it means you must improve something to get them higher. If you are afraid, just make small changes at a time.

If I make minimal changes, what would be the optimal time google would take to reassess it and make the rankings better?
