Ranking down after adding new page on site

I have a website which offers Facebook marketing tool and ranks well for keywords related to that. Yesterday, I published a new page about Instagram marketing tool where I offer users a separate tool for Instagram marketing.

After publishing that page, today, my rankings for main keywords for Facebook went down too, on multiple keywords. (some went from 3rd position to 5th, one went from 10 to 18 and so on).

Is that normal or should I be worried? Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

it's normal for rankings to fluctuate, just not because you've added a new page to your site.

not yet.

Give it a week or two, to see if the rankings come back. If they do, great! If not, you need to look into the issue and see what's caused it. Maybe it's a keyword conflict, or your competitors outranking you at the exact time that you've added that new page, or something else.

Yes, it's pretty normal, since the recent November update on Google algorithms, things like this happen all the time. As you published a new article, they started reindexing your site which caused that ranking for some keywords to go down. Don't worry, it should return to normal pretty soon.

It'll dance about for a few days, even a couple of weeks. Nothing to worry about.

Is the quality of content on that new page good or bad ? This can be possible if the content on new page is bad.
