Hey guys,

i got a page one ranking for a quite competetive keyword but it was just one page and so i added 10 new articles over the course of 5 days and my home site links to them all, everything do-follow, is it possible that the site has lost a lot of ranking after that ???

thanks and appreciate your feedback guYz.

it should come back soon. google is a mess and does not treat new sites too well. It also could have been the boost that google gives new sites.

How long has been since then?
SEO results are not seen overnight so probably your site is just dancing.

the rankings have been stable for over 2 months, the domain is over 8 years old, so i do not have a clue why that happened, i only added 10 articles and changed something in the theme footer so that is kinda strange behavior of Mr G

google will deindex your site if you look at it, only for the purposes of you doing the searching though. Try it from a different computer in a completely different place and see if it's different

umad?

When you hit page 1,you need to change tactics, you've possible over optimized the site now and been hit.I never had anything once I hit page one I simply focus on building up inner pages and very high pr links.
Messing with your footer is a bad idea btw,I'd undo the footer changes first, fire some high pr links to get the change indexed and see what happens. You could come back but 10 articles is alot of content in one shot.

You are on page 9! That means you are way back and in the supplemental index. To be honest, don't worry about a thing. This is what happens when you add links, and are WAY back in Google's index.

Keep building quality links and quality content on your site...
