Hello, prior to about a couple months ago, I was ranking on page 1 #1 for "heat nation" for my website (which has the keyword "heat nation" inside the url slug. I recently re-booted (re-booted as in pushing out articles on the site again, site was always live but just no new articles being posted) the site and all my rankings seem to be in place still and slowly growing since I started my campaign about a month ago, except for "heat nation." I am completely removed from the index for "heat nation" it seems, in regards to my home page. However, I have other pages showing on like page 4 like /category/media.

I have checked any manual penalties, site: searched on google, removed bad back links in case of an algorithm hit, but nothing. Is it simply because I haven't updated prior to a month ago? But then, why are all my other keywords still ranking fine?

Hi OP,

Pardon to say that you are really hit by Big G network, don't mind move on to another website (migrate or something)?
Being targeted is not easy for recovery growth, a suggestion is to push to other sites.

Good Luck,
Commoner

How long have u waited to see if the site returns? If its been long enough then its time to move on to a new site.

There has been some sort of Google update within the past week. Many sites lost ranking.

Aww man, everyone keeps suggesting that. But you don't know how important this domain name is to me and my fans. Is there any other way? I've been pushing content for about 2 weeks now...

Also, someone on another forum suggested that I do this: Your server has some sort of "defence mechanism" that serves 500 errors to people crawling multiple pages of your site in quick succession. This probably includes Google's crawler.

Sort that out.
Also. Homepage link is www version. It's not a problem but just change it.
