Is there anything special about ranking car dealership niches? It seems as if all of my competitors have paid other companies to put them ahead in the serp's. It's a brand new site and it's been about 3 months and I seem to be stuck on page 5 in a small city like the shit's not even relevant. I have created maybe 160 backlinks manually n gsa'd them. Google has only found 21 so far. I am not willing to pay as my competitors did but that seems to be the citations that google like's. Should I just give it more time, find more citations? add more content? or more mentions? sorry for rambling.

Making tier 1 links with GSA says it all. You cant expect to rank your site in such a competitive niche with GSA. You need strong links, just like what your competitors are doing.

And 160 links in a short spam of time is asking for trouble.

Page 5 for a small city? Are you working with an independent lot or a dealership?

it's an independent lot, and they're more like tier 2 links because the links I'm blasting are citations and backlinks, I also have a few 2.0's in there. I will sometimes throw a couple of hundred links to it, and the way google indexing works, it looks like I dripped them anyway. But either way with most sites, normally I'm at least on page 3 by now, I have ranked plenty sites within four months, but I noticed that google took their time out for car dealerships in the gmb section, so I was wondering was their any difference in the ranking factors as well.

Do you know any good sites for making press releases?
