Ranking But Little Traffic

So as the title suggests. I am ranking for keywords that total about 5000 searches per month. I am ranking at number 3 average. The issue is there is no boost in traffic. I am still getting only about 50 visitors a day.

I am not looking at personalized results. I have checked with serpbook, serps, and serplab. All are showing keyword results at 2, 3 and 4...no to mention with VPN and incognito mod, different browsers etc.

I should also tell you that the ranking just shot up like a day or two ago. Is it too early for the traffic to come, or are the keywords just bad? *sigh*

maybe people are searching in Google Images, Google Videos, Google News,...so your site does not appear on the SERP ?

the weird part is, i am getting the same mount of traffic as I was getting when the keyword was on second page. Perhaps you are right. Let see.

You need to rank #1 to get maximum traffic for 5000 search keyword. First two spots get maximum traffic.

Can't remember off the top of my head but doesn't #3 get about 20% of the ctr?
On 5k kW that would be around 30 clicks per day.
