i have a wordpress site im using woocomerce etc . i have a basic hosting plan not suitable for ecomerce i was just trying to experiment. i bought one backlink my site wasnt even ranking because of some dns problems but now they are fixed and i jumped to page 2 and 3 even one for some keywords ,

my question is does upgrading to an ecomerce hosting plan will improve my ranking more?

AFAIK hosting plan will not improve ranking .

Hosting gives your website stability , so they are not down if you are getting good traffic.

i was wonderiing if the speed increase would improve ranking thats why
 
It's not a direct result but some ranking signals like page loading speed, server issues, user experience, etc. can be improved with a better hosting plan.
 
Upgrading to an ecommerce hosting plan by itself won’t boost your rankings. What it can do is make your site faster and more stable, which helps users and can indirectly support SEO. Since you’re already moving up with fixes and backlinks, the main gains will still come from content, links, and optimization, not just the hosting plan.

it can help reduce the ranking issues caused by bad hosting, but it won't outright rank you if that's what you mean...
 
I also changed to a better hosting package, the site speed improved significantly and traffic was more stable. The ranking did not increase immediately, but the user experience was better so it was still beneficial in the long run.

Switching to an eCommerce hosting plan won’t instantly push your rankings higher, but it will make your site run faster and more stable. A smoother, quicker site gives visitors a better experience, which can indirectly help your SEO grow.

yes i was wondering that since my site is very slow i wondered if google doesnt like that

if you're talking about slow sites then yes, google doesn't like them. But slow sites can come from fast hosting too (if you use a lot of plugins, or plugins and themes that are bloated, for example... or large and / or unoptimized images, etc... all of these can make a site slow...)

To be safe just use fast hosting and as few plugins as possible...

i believe its the hosting plan its designed for personal blogs and using apache not litespeed webserver
