Ranking and getting viewers in 2016?

Hey y'all, just made a new youtube account in the music beats niche, uploaded 3 videos and the most one got is 200 views. I started this a month ago and cant seem to get any subscribers up. I've been researching tags etc, and just read the youtube thieves pdf thats in this section. Is ranking and getting views different in 2016? What do you guys recommend to get more viewers and subscribers to my channel?
