I'm trying to rank a certain image so that it shows up as #1 when you search the person's name. This person is not famous, so it's a non-competitive keyword. The image filename is optimized for the person's name, and the page title and URL also have her name in it. There's some content on the page about her too.

I've sent a bunch of social signals to the page the image is hosted on - bought a BST social signals gig here and had some additional +1s done to the page.

So far, I've been able to successfully bump it from the 5th row of images to the 2nd row, but it's been stuck there for about 3 weeks now. Any ideas about what I can do to boost it to page 1? Don't want to spend much money on this as I don't have much of a budget.

Thanks - it's just that I've sent more social signals to it a couple times since then and it hasn't budged. Seems like it may need something else in order to move.

If you're authorized, create a facebook & linkedin profile for the person with the photo you want ranked. Won't take too long after that.

Did you optimize meta tags prior to upload?
