Ranking an entire subreddit?

I have an entire subreddit on reddit that I use for very specific long tail keywords. Basically I have the subreddit set up with keywords for the general niche and then each one of the posts is a highly targeted keywords with a link to an affiliate offer. I'm doing well ranking them as a lot of the targeted keywords for each post have little to no competition, but they seem to sink in rankings over time.

I want to be able to devise a plan to rank the entire subreddit and pass on as much ranking juice possible to each one of the posts. What is a good way to do this? Lots of money to be made with reddit right now I'm sure we could all appreciate some SEO tactics with this method.

Have you tried the usual ways of ranking keywords? (Web 2.0 with tiers, PBN links, etc)? I'm curious about this also, as I have a lot of links on Reddit.
 
I have always wondered why Reddit posts and subs don't rank high in the search engines. There are tons of links going in I would expect more rankings in search engines. I guess maybe because individual posts don't get a ton of links.

I haven't done much for the individual links that are posted in the subreddit. My thing is that I post a good deal (5 or more) of posts on the sub every day, and it's hard to do a link building campaign for each post. I want to be able to see if there are some good techniques for ranking the entire subreddit and therefore pushing more ranking boosts to each individual link without having to run 5 campaigns a day.

The posts rank great! Getting them to last is the main thing.
 
How active is the sub? Are posts staying on the front page? Are you adding a lot more?
Possibly Google sees Reddit as a news site, so stuff is date specific and gets more juice when it's first posted?

Sub isn't active it's private. It's literally just a place for me to post things since reddit gives you a huge boost right off rip. I have it set to private so the posts aren't being cycled into the rest of reddit and hopefully I will avoid a ban that way. I'm hoping to find a way to keep my posts ranked since after a week or so they really drop in rankings but the problem is I don't have the resources and it's not very cost effective to launch a link building campaign for each and every post.

I'll tell you guys about the method a little more without revealing the niche. Basically I have a downloads subreddit and whenever there's a new release I'll make a post like "[GET] Batman vs Superman High Quality 1080p" and then I'll post up a good description of it and make the post nice then link it to a CPA locker. It usually ranks top 3 for some with the less competition.

Obviously having 30 links or so it's hard to get targeted links and SEO on them so maybe I will use anchor text of "download" or "get now" and use that for all of them and see if that gives me some boosts. It's not easy keeping them ranked thats for sure but I'm already making some money with this method

That seems like a pretty good method. A decent twist on the parasite method that everyone else and their brother is doing these days. I bet it would be easier to rank a subreddit for a more broad keyword search term, rather than specifics, since your posts are changing all the time, and the less recent ones drop off of the front page.

Also, I wonder if having a "discussion" in each post would make it easier to rank? I see individual posts ranking on page 1 all the time for various long tail keywords that are very low comp.
 
I don't know how it would work if it was private, but what about building links to the sub and passing down link juice to the individual posts.
More I think about it the more it seems like Google is handling it like news and giving it priority until it's aged.
