Ranking an Ebay Store On Google SERPs

Alright so I have been selling on Ebay and I realized that inorder to increase sales I want to rank the Ebay Store on Google. My stores name is the products name basically "The ____ Store". I know that ebay links have high Domain Authority SO MY QUESTION IS...

Can I build backlinks, do SEO packages etc on my EBAY store and get it to page 1? Has anyone done this? I PREDICT that it will be realitvely easy as my product isnt TOO competitive but the fact that the link already has a high DA, it will be easier than opening a e-commerce store. ( I dont care about the ebay seller fees etc. so I dont want to open an e-commerce store)

When you search google, its rare to find an ebay store that ranks. I usually find ebay categories ranking at times, but rarely ever ebay stores. Have you noticed the ebay stores ranking? Since you say its low competition maybe you can try some backlinks, but i doubt it would work if there is medium to high competition

Thats is exactly what I was wondering. Why don't more people do this, must be a reason.

And the niche that I wish to rank for, has the Ebay category ranking #3. It is a mid level competitive niche.

i tried this and had moderate success a long time ago. however, i wish i would have spent the effort promoting my own store. ebay should always be looked at like a ticking time bomb, you don't know when, but you will be banned at some point

Why would i be banned? Its like doing SEO for any e-commerce site right?

ebay monitors the incoming links built at it's store pages, so if you are thinking of comment spam/forum links spam then be sure to get banned on ebay.
