    I´m looking for some expert who might be able to give me some insights to ranking Amazon listings . then i mean The Amazon search engine not google .. .

    As others have mentioned I think it mostly has to do with click-through rate and conversions. Obviously amazon is going to want to show the products which have the highest yield for them. Other factors, which might play a role are user ratings, number of reviews, and related purchase and viewing history. Of course, it also depends on how the user goes about searching. For example, if they type a keyword phrase and then select only "prime eligible" if your item doesn't fall under that category then you're out of luck.

    To amazon trust is a key factor the more of amazon services you use i.e where amazon takes a bigger slice of your margin the more visible you'll be. i.e fba - but beware

    Amazon is a stealthy operator : every process is thought out,with one objective,is your product going to sell a number of units that meet amazon's own portfolio threshold.

    lots of images, unique product description , buy box pricing to begin etc amazon is very easy to monopolize the secret is cash flow and advance product in depth research,plus a backup when you sell to many.

    As the merchant seller is a tool to harvest, test and sell the world's product catalogue ,then taken by amazon.

    Just learn the game, listing is simply a gate,pricing buys the buy box, customer feedback (customer centric's) keep you in the game.
