Ranking a Youtube video on Google

Apart from social signals (views, likes, comments, etc.), what kind of backlinks and embeds are most effective to rank a youtube video in the Google search results pages?

Where do you "submit" your youtube video url after the upload?

I use PR1+ backlinks only and start building them 1 week after the videos are uploaded.

Edit: I use mainly blog comments, social posts, social bookmarks and articles.

secondly you can ping with a mass pinger, to send all robots to see your youtube link, but be sure that your video have a good description, keywords and title before all
 
Anyone has a list of site where is recommendable to submit a youtube video url?

For instance if the video is funny... 9GAG, but if it's not funny?
 
there's no relation between video comments/views/likes ..etc and ranking on G search engine ...
what you do to rank a site do it for a YT link .
 
You do the same thing you'd do to rank a normal URL

Social Bookmarks do work extremely well with videos though at least from my experience. Still you'll want to diversify as always

Sending views wouldn't hurt either at the very least it will boost your rank in the YT search engine a little

Drop your embed in those... might even be good for some targeted views :)
 
Three important things especially after updates:

1) Anchor Text diversity
2) Links diversity
3) Quality of links

The backlinks that I would normally build consists of Press Releases, Video Submission (linking back to my YouTube URL), Forum Profiles, Social Bookmarking, Social signals like retweets, FaceBook shares, Tumblr, Reddit, WordPress.

Ultimately, it depends on the level of competition really. Is there isn't a lot of competition, you don't have to really go on an overkill.
 
I sometimes get videos that don't rank on Google, I then send them to twitter & digg and minutes later they are indexed ;)
 
Just spam the hell out with big scrapebox AA list, always worked for lower keywords.
 
There is relation. Actually I ranked many youtube videos on Google only buying packages of social signals on Fiverr.
But for more competitive keywords I want to discover also which backlinks work best
