Ranking a spanish site

Hi,

I am sure most Web 2.0's will allow you to create blogs/profiles/etc in Spanish. Even if their site (eg. Wordpress) is in English, they do not usually prevent you from writing your articles and other material in your home language.

Google does prefer links that come from material that is relevant to your web site, including the language used. While English links will help you, Spanish-language links and material should be much more helpful.

It is fine to use tools like GSA with Spanish sites.

Find a directory listing service that will post your site on Spanish directories.
You can also try to do some guest posting, with Spanish articles, on niche-related blogs.

I would suggest you trying to use Google Adwords keyword tool to check what exact matches are best in your niche. I am sure it will also tell the Spanish versions. Title your articles to be your exact keyword and make sure the keyword is mentioned 1-3 times in the article and make a tag with all lower case letters exact same title as the post and you will rank for many terms without a problem.
