Is it even possible even with exact title

i.e someone searching for red shoes

would redshoes.me ever show up ?

from what I understand yes. I mean btly and delicious made it to the top....

heres a good example: g00gle music plug on g00gle. first result is a *in and third is a *me

It's definitely possible to rank cctld domains. All factors the same though, it will be easier to get a gtld domain ranking compared to a cctld in anywhere outside of the local market.
