Hello,
I'm looking for some pointers when it comes to optimizing GMB profiles. I'm getting so many mixed answers and want to clear the air for myself.

- GMB profile needs to be filled out 100%.
- I get this.
- Products offered within the GMB should be specific to a location you want to rank for.
- Not sure how well this is working, to be honest. I've been tracking it, and so far, nothing major has changed.
- Reviews are always good to have more than 10 or 20.
- I know reviews play a role, but I'm not sure it's as big as people claim. I've seen listings rank 1–3 in the map box with just 4 reviews.
- Posting daily to a GMB doesn't help rankings at all?
- Someone mentioned this actually doesn't help, but I wanted to get some feedback from others.
- GMB profile needs citations, in the same way, a website would need citations?
- I'm a little confused as to why this works if you've also done citations for the website your GMB links to.
- Having a map box of the GMB somewhere on the website.
- This helps too. My question is: there are a few different ways you can showcase your GMB on your website. I have a few GMB profiles that recommend we showcase them on the website, even though we're already doing so. Does GMB want us to do it their way specifically? We're using Google API keys and their iFrame code.
