Ranking 2 Amazon Affiliate Sites by Outsourcing

I wouldn't worry too much right now, assuming it's only been the one day.

I wouldn't no-index your posts just yet! Maybe try and send some of the link juice through to your homepage by linking back to it through anchor text of the keyword?

Google might take a while to crawl your site again (anything from few hours to days). But if you have webmaster tools, you could resubmit your sitemap, re-crawl the URL's and see what happens.

One of my articles recently dropped off google's index, so i initiated a re-crawl and it popped back in around the same place literally a minute later.

We all know the dance that happens on google, just don't panic too soon

Guaranteed someone else has some better advice than me, but keep us updated..

Thanks for your answer! I resubmitted the Sitemap and recrawled the site. I will see tomorrow where the site ranks. Why do you say that you wouldn't no-index your posts? Is it a big deal?

I am sending a PBN now every 2-3 days to the homepage. All the posts are follow. I will now wait a few days to see what happens before doing anything else, thanks again!

Good luck OP. Do keep updating, I've been planning a Amazon niche site will be following your Journey.

What tools are you using for competition analysis ?

Mostly I use Open Site Explorer, Ahrefs and Serpworx. Although now I am mostly focused on link building and pumping out some content.

Hiya, any sales yet? Also may I ask which PBN service you choose and why? All the best :)

I might get these accounts on Fiverr, Thanks. I'm trying to learn about link building now. What is the Keyword difficulty of your main kw on MOZ ?

No sales yet, since I should've posted on niche forums about my products, which I didn't do. I definitely screwed up there, but today I have registered for around 5 forums in my niche and i will soon be posting about my products and the site. So I hadn't have any real targeted traffic that had loads of buyer intent behind. I was thinking that when i rank for my terms, the sales will come. For Domains, I contacted Nargil. He is a great guy and has a BST here on bhw. He is a respectable member that offers great service. It takes a lot of work to set up the PBNs, but I used EBN hosting, also here on BHW marketplace. (You can PM me for Aff link if you want, as I highly recommend them.) Thank you for the questions. Good Luck.

yes, Fiverr is great for these kinda things. Although Serpworx is around 10$/m which isn't too bad, and it is useful. About link building, I suggest you get the most whitehat links as you can. Even nofollow links from Wikipedia for instance, do great for your site (see above). I post on reddit, since when the post receive some upvotes, the links turn to dofoIIow. But now I see that there is much more to SEO than I first thought and It's amazing to see how much you can learn from reading and then executing. I now know where I have made mistakes, so I can set up my next sites correctly and get them ranking and banking much faster. The keyword of the main site I am focusing right now is around 18 on Keyword revealer. But these numbers don't mean much I have learned. I try to now analyze the google pages myself using Serpworx and checking backlink profiles of pages that are ranking high on google. Tools are more of an estimate for me now. Thank you for the question. Stay well and good luck!

Just wondering why your rankings are pretty low (used to make a killing out of Amazon) but I had to be in the top 3. What methods have you tried so far? :)

Hey, thanks for the input. I have 15 PBN domains linked atm, around 10 Web 2.0's, Social Signals, and have a link diversity service from BHW working atm. My site is dancing in google as crazy which I think is because of all the linkbuilding going on. The site was penalized when the new update came out, so now I think it will stop dancing and will reach a max rank. I will see on which positions it ranks when the package is done and my last PBN is linked. I am ready to invest some more money into the site until it reaches the first site.

I also think my on-page is lacking, but I am working on it atm, but I don't know what really is optimal. I have these fears that I am doing something terribly wrong and I will f*ck up the whole site lol. But atm, I'm just optimising the site and links and waiting for it to stop dancing. After that, I think it should hit page 1 for some terms. thank you and good luck!

Wow! I stayed up all night working on the site. I have been focusing my full attention now and I did some on-page, wrote some articles, contacted people, edited some backlinks. I just had to see SERPLAB update (I was already in my bed with my laptop off) and I'm glad I did. I am posting this live. I saw some nice ranking gains. I feel that more is yet to come. I feel so relieved, I really had some bad thoughts lately that this site was penalized and all my PBN links are devalued. But it seems to pick up from everything google throws at it. I'm so glad.

Anyway, here is the update:

I am also seeing some traffic pour in from posting on forums. I regret not doing it earlier. Basically, I registered to around 10 forums and did intro post on all, but now I am posting useful information and some stuff about my products, I link the site saying that the facility I am working in just got these products in and they are cool.

I will also be doing some keyword research for the other site (targetting low comp, low search keywords) and writing some articles around that (around 10). I do this on my whitehat authority site, and it works great. I am ranking on position 6 for a 390 search term with 2.5$ CPC without doing any links. The point is to find forum posts on page 1 of google.

Thank you all for your awesome suggestions, you guys were awesomely helpful. I just feel so nice after seeing this.

Good Luck!

I only say not to no-index them because your posts are obviously pretty good, so provide good authority for your site when they show up in the serps. As a user of the internet, when i search something, find an article on what i wanted that is good quality content, i often go back to the homepage. By removing your articles from Google index, you are losing out a way in which people can find your homepage.

Good to see you're serps have improved though! Keep going dude

Beautiful, you see. Never give up, be the one you like to see right now!

Cheers,
Commoner

I have been lurking BHW for a while and watching your thread. So far your progress looks awesome! I plan on doing the same thing very soon. I was wondering, since you've spent 1k on this project, when do you think you'll get a ROI for your 1k investment? The site will have to make a couple dozen sales to get there.

How soon do you expect your first sale?

Thanks, and great job so far! :)

Glad I found your thread, I'm right behind you on the same journey. Keep up the good work!

Hello and thanks for posting on the thread. Hope you succeed in your journey and wish you the very best.

I spent a bit more than I should have, I totally agree. But this was my first real project, I was new to SEO and I underestimated the keyword competitiveness. I have a PBN, which is always nice to have that I invested around 500$ in. The rest was just me being lazy and not writing content, making web 2.0's... all that hard work stuff:p However, I think if I can rank this site for some of the main keywords that I have set up, it should bring in around 2-3k monthly traffic, meaning if I have an avg. conversion rate of 2% from all the visitors, and the avg. price of the product is around 200$ (commission is around 5% = 10$), the site should bring around 400-500$ a month.

I view this project not as a quick investment, but more a site that I will be able to feed myself off and finally stop asking my parents for money. I am ready to invest all my savings into this site, until it's finished and brings in constant profit.

In the future, I will definitely try to plan more things ahead, but I just had no clue what I was doing in the beginning, but now I see where I could've made some better decisions.

Hope you follow further. I did some stupid mistakes on this thread, but that is so that anyone who reads this, doesn't do them. :)

Glad I found your thread, I'm right behind you on the same journey. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the kind words. Good Luck on your journey!

Thanks for the reply! So your only current issue right now is ranking it seems. Once you just rank properly, you think things will pay off? :)

Yeah, I'm taking time with ranking this site. I will be ordering 2 more packages from Sarkar, since I had great results with his services.
I will post about this when decide to pull the trigger. I will also update the thread with updates.

The costs are:
-Domain 10$
-Hosting 5$/m
-Keyword 50$
-Content 80$
-Theme Free
-PBN 500$, hosting 60$/m
-Sherlock package 100$

Total for now: around 900$

In the Future:
-Jack Sparrow SEO package 85$
-Galaxy Blog Posts - 24 posts 130$

All estimated costs add up to 1100$. This is all my savings. I expect the site to rank for most of the keywords then and bring in a nice amount of traffic. I will keep correcting the site to make the conversion rate as high as possible. But I think that if I can achieve +300$/month that it is a profitable investment. Only time will tell now.

Thanks and Good Luck!

@op I believe you can do it! that $300/month will come soon :)

Btw
how many pbn do you have with the $500? and what hosting is that $60/month?

Thanks

your approach to this is perfect and your realistic expectations are on point. I believe $300/month is obtainable no doubt.

Advice: Don't dump too much more money in to backlinks until you have more results, these things take time and patience and you are already doing everything right. If you want to invest more, spend on content and manually promote

Good luck bro!
