Ranking #1 for 6600 exatch searches monthly

Well yea, I did it after 3 months of work (articles... backlinkings.. social bookmarking..) But i only get around 200 visits per day, if math says right 6600 / 30(days) = 225 . So that is what i expected, but what to do now to get more traffics ? This isnt making me a lot of money...

1st position rankings get 40 - 50 percent of traffic for the keyword, its good that your getting over 80% of the traffic.

Find related keywords and target them with the same website

.. Like your keyword is "Yorkshire dog training" ... Find a lot of keywords like "pug dog training".. "lab dog training" and so on..

If that traffic is from search only for a single 6600 exact kw then you are doing unbelieveable good.

Ranked 1 for around 7000 exact searches usually gives me around 100 visitors a day average.

You can rank for other keywords to get more traffic.

But it sounds like you are having a problem converting that traffic.

To make more money you can either raise your traffic levels or find a way to better convert that traffic. I suggest reading up on conversion optimization first, then optimize your website. After that, get more traffic and make a lot more money.

This. While it sounds great going after the #1 spot for a 6600 exact search keyword, it's really not a ton of traffic. As you stated, 6600 / 30 is 225, but the #1 spot usually gets about 50% of that, so you should get about 110 daily visitors for being #1 for a 6600 keyword. Bit depressing yes, but be happy it's not a 1300 keyword lol.

Well i read all the replies, im focusing on other keywords now, keyword per keyword... more traffic will come i guess, 500/day is perfect for me, but its a bit too far for me now

Just create some more pages, and keep building links. You're homepage linkjuice will rub off on the sub pages and you'll get some more traffic. 500 isn't too hard to reach.
If possible, trying to expand your shorten current keyword to get the next keyword.
ie if your kw is 'blue computers' now aim for 'computers', or 'new blue computers'.
You'll have some link juice from ranking the previous keyword, so it'll be easier to rank the next.

You should definitely be more than happy, as you get double the traffic people normally get for a keyword... obviously you get traffic from some other keywords, besides your main keyword... if you have Google analytics , see using which keywords people find your website

As people already suggested take some ideas using Google keyword tool for similar to your keyword, write article and make new post... then you already know SEO for the newly created page

while reading this i poured beer onto my dddd_i*ck... no kidding!!! but yeah 80% traffic is good... now go to next niche and conquer that if you cant make your present niche wider for audience.

How much $ are you making?

Perhaps the problem is your monetization, landing page not converting? Low CTR on AdSense? Getting scrubbed by network etc.

100 visitors per day is a lot if you have the right product/service to promote. If you get 30% of them to convert on a $1.5 offer, that's $1350 a month you never had before. You just gotta rank for the RIGHT keywords. People use adsense like it's nobody's business for visitors that will convert better on CPA offers. Stop being lazy with your monetization and start testing other offers!

Keep on with the niche and move to another, there might be also sub categories of that niche your doing to try to find them.
