Ranked extremely saturated niche making $100 per day with Natural ranking method ! Discuss

Hey BHW, I have noticed recently youtube have very random ranking methods and makes me think whether really random is the new ranking method ? I have noticed recently that with vids with only 5k or maybe 6k views can get to page 1 for extremely saturated niches ! I mean is this sort of the pattern we are seeing these days ? I myself have ranked a very saturated niche with 5 k views on page 1 by accident -_- so I don't know about you guys but what do you think ?

It seems to me that at the moment Youtube focuses on ranking videos which they think are 'trending', this is the reason why a lot of new videos seem to rank. In a few days the ranking of your video will probably decrease as it isn't getting as many views per day as it used to. However if you keep sending it views then it should continue to rank highly. That's what I have found anyway, I would be interested to hear other peoples thoughts.

There are 2 rankings to consider. Ranking inside of Youtube and on Google search. You give good advice for the first kind, but to rank on Google itself you gotta do some old school SEO as well as keep the video "trending".

Ah yes, that is correct. I thought the OP was just talking about Youtube. I find sending backlinks to Youtube videos works really well for ranking in google, I've even seen it done with spam links. I'm not really sure if backlinks help at all with ranking on Youtube but I think they might do as they are similar to social shares which help quite a lot.
 
So..the "natural ranking method" is a random ranking method. :)

Nothing is random. If you show it to google that your video is turning viral(There are ways to do so) then your video will be placed higher in search

Can you give us some tips regarding faking virality of videos?
 
No one can guarantee ranking in first page of google, my video was in the first page for 3 day's and after that in page 5!!!!
why? no one have the answer....

I love broad generalisations..we will forget aspects of quantum mechanics/brownian motion/aspects of weather events..etc..anyway..dont go a hidden variable for god sake..:)
I am seeing NON random movement and placement in some sections of YT.
And I am not seeing Viral videos that are new..out ranking older videos.!!!!
Yes...I am sure there are exceptions.. :)
In the medical field..you aint going to get viral videos of gout etc..
And,...if you read the posters comments.they are seeing the same thing.
And..many times..there is not a clean and linear relationship with YT serps and views/age etc.Sometimes its random..or..its not random..it just looks random :)
