Ranked a sub-page instead of Homepage

Hi Guys,

After purchasing different services here of link building, the website is on 1st page on google but the problem is that the page indexed is a subpage domain.com/sub and not the homepage.

How can i do in this case? And why it happened if we linked back only the homepage?

You need to build some more links on your homepage then it’ll be ranked too

It happens if your homepage is not optimized properly. Your home page content is low comparing to that inner page or Maybe your internal linking structure not done properly.

Google prefers the relevant content.

Get some homepage links in the next slot with the branded anchors.
But don't go with the home page links only. You can have max - 50% of your backlinks to your homepage.

Ok thanks, got it for the branded anchors, will do it.
But you also say to don't go only for the homepage backlinks... so i should also do some more backlinking to subpages? This can maybe be a risk to rank subpages instead of homepage again?
