You need quality links, not spammy. My advice, do not blast your site with sb anymore. However you can use sb to get high pr site and manual post them. Quality > Quantity

Keep in mind, they are all different search engines, and have their own alogorithms. This sounds completely normal.

I've had sites ranking top 5 in Bing and Yahoo, but ranking like #100 in Google. I've also noticed that I can rank sites in Bing and Yahoo using crappy, SB style links. But this hasn't worked for me with Google.

Yahoo and Bing are weak against SB spam... It works great. Unfortunately, this causes the opposite effect in Google from my experience.

Yes, I have had the same trouble. It seems Google is a lot harder to reach the top with competitive key words.

Among these search engines, there is a huge difference in algorithms to rank websites. And Google is the boss so it gives more authority to quality backlinks.

I wanted to start this topic today as yesterday my <40 visit/day, 2month old site started ranking in bing and yahoo (never before got a single visitor from bing/yahoo). I only did like ~20 senuke backlinks a month ago and thats it. Yesterday i got 300 US uniques, and today i am geting even more. I never even targeted US, only Lt (as i live in Lithuania).
Looks like i am going to concentrate to yahoo/bing instead of google.
Top 10 in yahoo and top 7 in bing for porn keyword which has 15mil/month visits (in google), with 20 backlinks is kind of a strange thing
What you guys think? Anyone else noticed this?
