rank 4


2nd search

About 3,990,000 results (0.19 seconds)
rank 6 couldnt take a screen shot was down
to far . still on first page for both
with gmail logged out
didnt make that much difference

You need to clean your cache and site preferences, just clean everything in firefox and requery it, logged out of google, best is to use an independent rank checking tool. Either way it does not matter, your point is very valid, you rank because you have no competition on that keyword, you shouldnt had avertised it here tough

I think you misunderstand how Google Ranking works. You do not rank for the term. Blackhatworld ranks for the term. We have shown this many times, over and over. Blackhatworld is a top 3 authority site for SEO and Internet Marketing terms and will therefore be considered an elite source of quality information.

The term "scrapebox-proxies" is in the page URL, and that is how "you" ranked for it. If you had named your thread "Best Proxies For Scrapebox", you would rank for that term higher instead. I understand that you are excited over what "you achieved", and you may know more about proxies than many of us, but this is not something you really had anything to do with.

Also, you need to understand that "About 1,250,000 results" means nothing. This is the worst measure of competition because it is so broad. At the very least put quotes around your terms before searching to get a better idea of how many sites are possibly competing for that exact term.

if anything, this thread shows how little OP understands Google and SEO in general.

I will give you a little example so you can understand how to read the google results a little better.

This threads title is: ranked 1st and 5th on google for scrapebox
It contains the phrase: ranked 5th google
Pretty competitive term right?: About 5,250,000 results (0.09 seconds)
Where do we rank for it?: Currently showing #6 on Google.com
How many visitors can we expect when ranking 6th? 0

Nobody is actually competing for the term. Nobody is searching for the term.
