Rank your YouTube vdos to #1 - easy method !!!

Im testing same method from few days and it doesn't seem to work. It could definitelly work for one word keywords but if you got more than one then your video will rank for keyword but without spaces eg.
your keyword is dog training and your username is dogtraining - then it will rank for dogtraining only, not for dog training.
My 3 cents.
Wrong. Your keyword is dog training with space, because it uses your google+ name ^^
Google already has made filters for this.. and most names/last names are unable to take.

You can still use this for niches that don't use English keywords... Google don't have filters for those... yet :)

sounds too familiar didnt someone post this not too long ago? copy&paste

so does it still work or have things changed? I would assume since it was out 2 years ago it might not work too well anymore.

I think it's still working, but it alwaysdepends on the competition etc :)

I love how i got -2 rep for spotting a scammer, lol.

Well i guess even if its opd it should be working at least utit makes sense for me...

there is no comment area in channel, but you can always comment on old videos with high pr

Not cool about the negative rep. I gave you + 3 for your help

so how it works by two keywords?

example

my gmail mail username nice_head
then
youtube username nice_head

or should have username nicehead ???

thanks for share.
this will help to increase your channel PR but wont necessarily rank your video #1

Why the hell would Google credit usernames that are keyword rich? If they really did, that would encourage people to spam on with nameless, only keyword usernames that it'd turn into plain marketing site.

I think this could work still. Problem is that YouTube has put in some safeguards. For example, comments aren't listed on the main channel pages any more. You have to click the "Comments" tab. That takes you to a different URL which generally has no PR or links pointing to it anyway.

So you might have to modify the method a bit, but the general process works still. Try looking for the pages that have comments listed on them, then find the ones with PR. Videos often accumulate PR too. So the trick is getting your comments to appear on that page. You can use Open Site Explorer's top pages report to find the highest PR videos. Then go comment on those. If you have a particularly high value video that you really want to get ranked...give the list of high PR videos to an outsourcer to go through and comment using your account. And if you find an outsourcer with multiple YT accts, you could ask them to thumb up those comments so they appear in the "top comments" section for a longer period of time.

Here's an example of what I'm talking about. OSE shows this channel has a PageAuthority (similar to PR) of 80: http://www.youtube.com/user/ProbioticDiets

But there are no comments on that page. Clicking the comments tab changes the URL to: http://www.youtube.com/user/ProbioticDiets/feed?filter=1

So, export the top pages report for YouTube and filter the URL column for cells that contain "feed?filter=1" and you'll have a nice list of pages to suck PR or PageAuthority out of.

This similar method works for all kinds of things. Think about sites that allow you to login with Facebook. Often times those are followed links to your facebook page.

Yes, I copied that method from that that article to post here. I've been using it countless times to rank my channels & videos.

It has worked since 2010, and still works; even with all the safe guards YouTube has put in.

You just need to be creative with your user names.

Thanks for all the +rep; and the -reps as well !

Yeah I dont see why the comments wouldnt work, if you notice even though the comment section is on a different page, the page rank still stays the same on the page for that channel. My question to you jsmitch like everyone else, is it possible to use more than one word keywords someway? Maybe underscores such as a username "dog_training" or maybe a dot "dog.training" What kind of usernames do you create as a multiple worded keyword (if you do) ?
