Rank Wix sites

Hello Bhw! Im very new to the IM market, and I think this is my first post on the forums.
So now im gonna take some action and start to try out everything that i have learned here on bhw!
Now to the point, have anyone tried to rank a site in google with wix sites?
As my first site is going to be created with wix, note that I am not asking if it is a good idea to rank with wix or not cuz of the reason that it's mostly flash, I am very aware of that.
I just wonder if anyone here tried to rank a wix site and how it turned out.

Ofc I'm going to provide some articles on the site, and maybe a linking blog.
Also the site is made for a downloadable product with more then 22,000 global monthly searches with nearly no competition at all.
I even have the product name in the domain.

So will my best way to monetize this be through a CPA network with content locker? Would appreciate some advice, thanks!

Are you married to the idea of starting off with a Wix site?

If you're just starting out, why not use something like Wordpress? They are much easier to rank when just getting started, IMO.

I want my site to look beautiful and professional so it looks trustworthy as im giving out free downloads of a product, and i don't think i can make a wordpress look as nice as I can make my wix site to look.

Not sure why you can't make a good looking WP site.

And if you give me a choice between good looking and good ranking, that's a no brainer IMO!

That's exactly why i'm asking, how much harder is it to rank a wix then a wordpress, it's no choice about good looking and good ranking if im building the site in wix im getting it to the top no matter what .. its a very low comp word.

Yes Wix sites are generally harder to rank the other websites - think about it they are flashed based and most of them don't carry a lot of content. It's not impossible to rank, I have ranked full flash sites with no content. It's just a little more difficult because well, like they say - content is king.

To be honest if your new to IM I would advise going to a different platform.

OP, if you want to take a look at a wordpress site done properly PM me and i'll show you one i'm working on... I'd sooner have this than any wix site.
